 Dear Parishioners,

Thank you: We were privileged to have many priests on Saturday for helping us in confessions. Special thanks to Philip Achan, Joy Achan, Meena Achan, Pauly Achan and Sheen Achan.



CO: Our church, fellowship hall and chapel finally received the certificate of occupancy from the township. Praise the Lord.



Please note the schedule for the holy week:



Holy Thursday – April 13th: Holy Mass will be at 7:30 PM with the washing of the feet followed by adoration until 12:00 midnight. We will be sharing the Pesaha Appam as a community at 10:00 PM. As per the direction of diocese, Holy Thursday collections will be send to diocese for seminary formation.



Good Friday – April 14th:

3:00 - 5:30 PM - Reflections of the Way of the Cross by Adults.

5:30 – 6.00 PM – Nercha Kanji

6:00 – 7:15 PM - Passion play of the Way of the Cross by the Youth and Children.

7:30 PM - Passion of Christ.



Holy Saturday – April 15th: Holy Mass at 9:00 AM and Blessing of the new holy water and new fire.



Easter celebrations and Holy Mass will start at 7:30 PM on Saturday. Dinner will be served after the Holy Mass. Installation of the new altar servers will be done during the Easter vigil mass. They should arrive at 7:00 PM on Saturday.



Easter Sunday –April 16th: There will be only one Mass at 9:00 AM. There will be no CCD and Academy on Easter Sunday.



St. Jude Chapel: We will have the first holy mass in the St. Jude Chapel on April 21st, Friday. Everyone please plan to join. After that we will have holy mass in the St. Jude chapel on Monday – Thursday and on Saturdays.



SVDP:

SVD has placed a drop box in the Narthex area for those who wishes and give any Lenten offering for the intention of feeding the hungry. All proceeds will be given to sisters of charity. Drop box will be available through Easter.



George Avirappattu, math professor at Kean University will be available to teach Calculus to our high school/ college students. Sessions will be on Saturdays after morning mass starting on April 22nd. If your child is interested, please contact Mercy or Saly for further details. Fee collected will be donated to our church and St. Vincent DePaul Society.



Shalom Fire Retreat: Shalom Fire retreat will be held at our church on July 14, 15 & 16. Please mark your calendar. For registration and more details please contact Joseph Perumpail or the trustees. Stay-in Retreat: Our church is organizing a stay-in Retreat in two batches for all our faith formation program students from 7th grade and up, and including youth and young adults during summer time. The retreat dates are from July 23rd Sunday evening to July 26th, Wednesday. The retreat will be led by Fr. Augustino Torres a well-known preacher and a member of our dioceses DYA team. Fundraising Show: Our church is doing the fundraising show – Time Machine by CochinGuinness on April 22nd Saturday at 4.30 PM at Franklin High School Auditorium. This is the major fundraising program that we are doing this year and we need everyone’s support to make this a great success. Sebastian Antony and Tony Mangan will coordinate the show.  Please take one ticket for you and one for your friend outside church. It would be great if you could make the payment in advance for the tickets that is already taken.



Pledge Collections: Our expected average weekly pledge collection is $9032. Last week our pledge collection was $6130. Please catch up with your pledge commitments. Thank you for your contributions and support.
