This year we will be learning more about the Holy Eucharist. In particular, we will learn the Syro-Malabar Holy Qurbana.
First, we will study the liturgical meanings of the Syro-Malabar Church Structure, Participants of the Holy Eucharist, and details of the various liturgical vestments used.
We will then go in detail about the various parts in the Holy Qurbana explaining the meaning of each.
After this, we will study about the liturgical season in Syro-Malabar Church.
The goal of the 9th grade CCD is to help the students to know more about our Holy Qurbana. A better understanding of the Qurbana will lead to better experience of Holy Qurbana. A better experience will lead us to love the Holy Qurbana and make it a part of our daily lives.
It would be good for students as well as parents to read the text book often and learn more about Holy Qurbana
